Drop in anytime from 12noon - 2pm .. Threshing is the process of loosening the edible part of cereal grain (or other crop) from the scaly, inedible chaff that surrounds it.

Howell Day Celebration
Oak Glen Park - located off: Preventorium and Old Tavern Rd
From 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM This year's event will consist of hands on entertainment and fun. There will be pony rides, inflatable obstacle courses and sport games, a 22' double bay slide, a rock wall and bungee trampoline, a 9 hole mini-golf course, a dunk tank, a trackless train and more! Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob Squarepants and Elmo will be there too! There will be several popular carnival games and prizes will be awarded to our winners. Bubbles the Clown will be entertaining you with Air Brush, Spin Art and Balloon Twisting stations. Cowboy Larry will be performing throughout the day and end with a Western Show at 3:30 p.m. As always, various local food and service vendors will be showcasing their best products. Shuttle buses will be provided to and from the event. Additional parking is available at DPW

Sea Girt - 63rd Army Band Concert
National Guard Training Center, Rte 71, Sea Girt.
From 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM The three-dozen Soldiers will fill the evening with music as a full concert orchestra, as well as performing several musical selections as a stage band or rock combo during the nearly one and half hour performance.The public is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and will be directed to parking once entering the training center.This is the only summer concert for the military band this year www.state.nj.us/military/63rd/index.html
